I was inspired to create my own passion-driven cultural poster, directly influenced by the Neo-Expressionism movement. I was particularly drawn to contemporary poster designer Peter Bankov and his use of extravagant, rapid forms that push abstraction to create bold and unconventional visual statements.
Through this approach, I carefully selected and arranged visual motifs that represent my cultural identity, using layered and reconfigured references to symbolize both my individuality and the complexity of my personal heritage.
A personal selfie taken in front of my work.
My poster was hanged in front of the Center for Multicultural Engagement and Inclusion at the Tivoli in Metropolitan State University of Denver.
